Risk Standardisation & Operational Excellence Lead

We are seeking a strategic thinker with proven experience in delivering sustainable and scalable risk management solutions to champion “one way, same way” risk practices across HESTA. This role will focus on operationalising risk requirements by translating framework principles into practical solutions that can be effectively implemented by the business.

Requirements

• Significant experience in operational risk management and operational/process excellence
• Demonstrated success leading large-scale process improvement or operational redesign initiatives
• Experience developing standards, templates, frameworks and playbooks that enable scalable and consistent practices
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
• A curious mindset, with a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence
• Strong analytical capability, with the ability to translate complex processes into clear and actionable insights
• Strong understanding of enterprise risk management frameworks and the Three Lines Model
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in risk, finance, business or a related discipline
