Software Engineer

Role Overview

Designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for software enhancements and new products. Works with customer facing teams to understand requirements and translate the requirements into software design.

What You Will Do

Develop complex packet forward features, analyze, debug and fix complex microkernel/Linux issues, drive innovations by working with cross functional teams, assist in solving complex customer issues and queries reported from the field.

Must have strong Networking background, excellent C/C++/Python programming, design, problem solving and debugging skills, prior experience with Software development on routers, switches, datapath ASICs, and multi-core Software architectures.

Requirements

• B.E or BTech from a reputed institution in CS/EE with 7+ years of experience
• Excellent C/C++/Python programming, design, problem solving and debugging skills
• Strong Networking background
• Prior experience with Software development on routers, switches
• Prior experience with datapath ASICs like Broadcom, Mellanox, Innovium, Barefoot or any other NPU
• Exposure to multi-core Software architectures
• Clear understanding of the product development cycle, technical requirements with a strong understanding of concepts related to computer architecture, data structures and programming practices
• Strong record delivering software projects on-time and with high quality
• Good oral and written communication skills, highly self-motivated, and ability to work in a team environment
