
Job description
Storage Sales Specialists lead pursuit in their assigned territory, collaborating with Account Generalists and providing storage expertise within the sales team. They drive proactive campaigns to build the pipeline, prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close opportunities.
Responsible for sales of storage products and solutions in assigned territory, industry, or accounts. Develops pursuit plans, builds and manages the storage sales pipeline, and contributes to proposal development, negotiations, and deal closings.
Self-starter with 5+ years of sales experience, preferably with storage related sales experience. Expert in working with indirect channel model, deep competitive knowledge of at least 1 major storage vendor, and ability to perform hands-on demo of portfolio sold in the past.
