Senior Engineer

Role Overview

The Senior Engineer will drive the architecture and engineering direction of the Communication Technology platform within Global Services Group. This platform is responsible for sending billions of customer communications to HexDigital Customers. The successful candidate will be focused on driving the architecture and engineering direction of the platform, working with other senior level engineers, architects, and platform owners to set technical direction and strategic objectives.

What You Will Do

The Senior Engineer will analyze user stories and problems to develop technical architecture and solutions for new and existing platforms, build common frameworks and reusable assets using Open Source software, conduct code reviews and builds test automation, and work with other senior level engineers, architects, and platform owners to set Communications platforms' technical direction and strategic objectives.

The successful candidate will have 7+ years of active architecture, design, engineering, and implementation experience in a complex enterprise environment, hands-on experience with technology/frameworks such as Java/J2EE/Spring/vert.x/Camel, nodeJS, React, JavaScript & HTML, and ability to setup CD/CI pipeline using Git/Jenkins & ability to containerize applications using Docker.

Requirements

• 7+ years of active architecture, design, engineering, and implementation experience in a complex enterprise environment
• Hands-on experience with technology/frameworks such as Java/J2EE/Spring/vert.x/Camel, nodeJS, React, JavaScript & HTML
• Ability to setup CD/CI pipeline using Git/Jenkins & ability to containerize applications using Docker
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
