Senior Process Engineer-US-NC,Fayetteville

Hexion is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to provide technical expertise in chemical engineering and provide recommendations to solve complex problems within the Resin processes. The role involves providing senior technical advice in the proper development of new chemical processes, reviewing proposed chemical processes, and making recommendations to ensure process requirements are met and chemical operations meet Hexion’s safety and environmental requirements.

Requirements

• Provide expertise in Process Engineering in Resin Production and process capacity
• Consult and provide technical recommendations in the design of chemical processes with a focus on safety and efficiency in design.
• Provide technical solutions to problems found at existing locations based upon full understanding of the products being made and the process capabilities at the site.
• Advising a project team of potential design or scope changes and the impact / benefit on the process.
• Collaborate on the development of a business case for any new product / process development.
