As a Field Service Engineer - Technician, you will play a pivotal role in delivering reliable energy solutions to customers across North America. You will work directly with high-voltage equipment at customer sites, leading installations, modifications, and repairs for Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) equipment. You will have the chance to grow your technical and leadership skills, take on complex assignments, and develop expertise in cutting-edge energy technology.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of proven experience in technical field service work.
- Technical diploma/degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) preferred.
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
- Experience leading crews on electrical projects.
- Ability to read and interpret contracts, specifications, and technical drawings.
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and test equipment software.
- Able to travel up to 80%, including to Canada and Mexico.
- Valid US driver’s license.
- Fluent in English.
