Information Technology Manager (Data Analytics)

The Information Technology Manager (Data Analytics) position at HKBU is an in-house role focused on advanced analytical and reporting output, impacting short-term and long-term strategic decisions. The manager will guide data plan design, manage data quality, develop analytics, build predictive models, and oversee third-party vendors. They will leverage data-driven approaches to improve process efficiency and drive initiatives.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or related discipline
• At least 7 years’ work experience in Data Management & Analytics
• Demonstrated track record in implementing solutions in modern data architecture, Big Data, and/or traditional BI/DW/ETL
• Solid experience using Oracle Cloud, MS Azure, AWS, PowerBI, Tableau, QlikSense and/or statistical package such as SAS, Alteryx
• Knowledge of PL/SQL, Java, Stored Procedures, and Linux/Unix shell
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational, supervisory, and interpersonal skills
