Reporting to the Assistant Director of the Application and Integration Services Section, the Senior Information Technology Manager serves as both a strategic leader and subject matter expert in IT system modernisation and cloud migration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related discipline
- At least 10 years of experience in IT system modernisation and cloud migration
- Cloud platform certifications such as Azure are a plus
- Demonstrated team leadership
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of IT systems relevant to tertiary education and university environments is desirable
- Solid experience with relational database management systems such as Azure/Microsoft SQL Server
- Proven ability to translate strategic vision into practical plans and measurable outcomes
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a talent for converting business requirements into technical solutions
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels
