Job Description
The 2nd Shift Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the production process, communicating with various departments, and ensuring efficient use of equipment, materials, and personnel. The role involves assigning tasks, reviewing processing specifications, and maintaining accurate paperwork. The supervisor will also participate in physical inventory, aid in research and development, and promote a safe and healthy working environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- At least four (4) years of manufacturing supervisory experience
- Sufficient Managerial and Supervisory courses and/or training
- Basic knowledge and understanding of scheduling procedures and costing of products
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
- Ability to understand and evaluate costs involved with production
- Ability to communicate with employees with very limited English skills
- Experience with Food Manufacturing is ideal
- Experience with and ability to obtain HACCP Certification is desirable
- Obtain and maintain Red Cross CPR/First Aid Certification
