Senior Automation Equipment Engineer

Role Overview

Join Hovione, a global Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO), as a Senior Automation Equipment Engineer. You will be part of the Global Automation team, responsible for proposing and implementing annual goals, resources, and budget decisions. You will also report on equipment results, define requirements, and manage new equipment projects.

What You Will Do

Develop and review specification, testing document templates, and internal and standard operating procedures. Collaborate with Automation sites to support exchange of proven practices and standards. Plan and manage Global Automation equipment projects, and maintain and develop standards, procedures, and specifications.

We are looking for a candidate with an engineering degree, preferably in Chemical, Mechanical, or Automation Engineering, with 5 years of experience in automation projects in industrial operations. You should have good computer skills, project management, coordination, communication, and leadership skills, as well as team spirit, initiative, dynamism, and creativity.

Requirements

• Engineering Degree (preferably Chemical, Mechanical or Automation Engineering)
• Minimum experience of 5 years in a role related to automation projects in industrial operations
• Equipment automation design, commissioning, and qualification
• Good computer skills (office software tools, preferably with computer programming knowledge)
• Fluent in English written and spoken
• Project management, coordination, communication, and leadership skills
• Team spirit, initiative, dynamism, and creativity
• Root cause analysis / problem-solving skills
