Senior Underwriter

We're looking for a Senior Underwriter to join our team in London. The role involves quoting accounts for all classes of Equine and Bloodstock business and administering ongoing policies. You'll be responsible for training and developing team members, communicating with clients and stakeholders, and driving performance and results for DUAL.

Requirements

• Ability to work efficiently and methodically
• Ability to communicate effectively
• High level Inter-personal skills to relate effectively to both internal and external parties
• Technical knowledge of FCA, current case law and legislation as they pertain to customers and intermediaries
• Significant experience in the insurance industry with a broad range of experience including one or more of the following: policy work and preparation, basic accounts, claims, insurance Underwriting/ broking and direct client liaison
• Strong product awareness with significant experience of underwriting of specific class(es)to which the job holder is responsible for
