Controls Engineer

Howmet Fastening Systems is seeking a Controls Engineer in Fullerton, CA. The job involves working with management to propose, develop, and implement new technology for production equipment of aerospace fasteners. Responsibilities include managing safety, schedule, cost, and performance of projects, identifying and implementing automation solutions, and managing a team of design engineers and development tool and die makers.

Requirements

• Work with Howmet Fastening Systems business owners to align technological solutions with manufacturing challenges
• Develop and promote a strategy of continuous improvement based on technological solutions
• Manage safety, schedule, cost, and performance of projects
• Identify, propose and implement automation solutions
• Identify, propose and implement process control improvements
• Manage a team of design engineers and development tool and die makers
