Commodity Operations Product Engineer

The Commodity Operations Product Engineer will partner with R&D, Manufacturing, and New Product Introduction (NPI) Supply Chain groups to successfully introduce new products into worldwide production. The role will sustain products through cost reductions and seek yield improvements. The engineer will analyze samples of defective units/sub-assemblies and recommend or implement changes to the product or process as applicable.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Typically 4-6 years experience.
• Using engineering tools and software packages to test, design, and evaluate products and manufacturing processes.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Understanding of material properties and hardware and electrical component design and manufacture.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
