Hardware Engineer 3 – Electrical Validation & Testing

Hardware Engineer 3 – Electrical Validation & Testing role at HPE, responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and execute test strategies for next-generation networking products, ensuring products meet IEEE 802.3 standards.

Requirements

• MSEE/CS with 3–5 years of experience, or BSEE/CS with 5–7+ years of experience
• Hands-on experience testing networking products and L2/L3 protocols
• Minimum 3 years of experience with IEEE 802.3 standards, including: Optical transceivers and RJ45 MagJack interfaces, Speeds from 10/100/1000 to 400G, Test methodologies such as eye mask, jitter, CMOV, return loss, differential output voltage, and output droop
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in hardware validation environments
