HPR is seeking a Software Engineer II, DevOps to help build the future of capital markets infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in low-level programming, DevOps, and platform engineering, with experience in Kubernetes, containerization, and infrastructure as code practices.
Requirements
- MS/BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of relevant DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure engineering experience
- Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes
- Experience with containerization technologies including Docker and Docker Compose
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code practices and tooling
- Strong scripting skills in Python and/or shell for automation and operational tooling
- Experience building or maintaining internal developer tooling or simulation/testing platforms
- Experience with Helm charts for packaging and deploying applications to Kubernetes
- Familiarity with observability stacks
- Working knowledge of object storage systems and relational or NoSQL databases
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Demonstrated ability to work through complex infrastructure challenges and drive them to resolution
