Product Engineer - St Jérôme, QC

Electro Composites is seeking a Product Engineer to join their dynamic team. The candidate will be responsible for the design and development of essential components for energy transport, such as high-voltage crossings, isolators, and other specialized equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Member in good standing of the Order of Engineers of Quebec (OIQ)
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in product engineering and electrical design, ideally in a manufacturing environment
• Expertise and experience in energy transport systems and high-voltage equipment
• Solid knowledge of electrical principles, circuits, control systems, and components
• Knowledge of insulating materials (epoxy, resin, composites) is an asset
• Demonstrated ability to understand complex technical concepts and communicate them clearly
• Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCad, SolidWorks, Inventor or equivalent)
• MS Office proficiency
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a rapidly evolving environment
• Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken, is required
