Controls Engineer

Seeking a Controls Engineer with expertise in integrating NUMAC with the H31 communication platform. The ideal candidate will have experience with small modular reactor control systems, nuclear industry standards, and system design and testing software tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with small modular reactor (SMR) control systems such as BWRX-300.
• Knowledge of nuclear industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with software tools used for system design and testing.
• Proven experience with control system communications, preferably in nuclear power plant environments.
• Strong knowledge of communication protocols and systems integration (e.g., DCS, SCADA, PLC communication interfaces).
• Experience with system requirements development, prototyping, and final design processes.
• Familiarity with NUMAC, H31 platforms, EGD systems, and Plant UDH communication architectures is highly desirable.
