Job Description
As a CNC Machinist III, you will operate and maintain CNC machinery to produce precision parts and components according to technical specifications.
Requirements
- Proficient programming, setup and operation of ALL CNC Turning and Milling equipment and tooling
- Monitor setups and operations of machining activities performed by CNC Machinist I & II
- Proficient knowledge, use and calibration of any measuring device
- Read and interpret extensive machine code (G, S, and M) and correct any discrepancies found
- Program and machine threads of any caliber on Lathes and Mills (Tapered, single and multiple leads)
- Fabricate fixtures, jigs and linkage pieces
- Ability to fabricate tools as needed
- Ability to problem solve issues with the machining equipment
- Support CNC Machinist I and CNC Machinist II through mentoring and / or on the job training
- Perform final quality inspection on all machined and fabricated pieces
- May act in a leadership role for assigned areas
