Job Description
Hume AI is seeking an experienced Front-End Engineer to build a developer platform and commercial applications for their core mission of using advanced technology to understand and support human emotion and goal alignment. They are focused on creating AI systems guided by human values and committed to ethical AI practices. The company has received funding and recently launched a flagship AI model, EVI 3.
Requirements
- 3-7 years of experience in developing frontend web applications
- Proficiency with a modern frontend stack (TypeScript, React, Next, Tailwind, etc)
- Expertise in modern frontend best practices, including accessibility, semantic markup, Core Web Vitals, and optimization
- Proficiency with debuggers, profilers, and flamegraphs
- Proficiency with automated testing and CI/CD tools (Jest, Playwright, Axe, Wave, GitHub Actions, Dev Containers)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
