WELDING PROJECT LEADER 3

Expedites the implementation of productivity and quality improvements in welding operations. Coordinates assigned projects from initiation through implementation, providing technical and hands-on assistance to Trades personnel. Assists in job planning, equipment set-up, and troubleshooting of problems incurred during implementation.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Minimum of eight years production welding experience
• Knowledge of ship construction methods, welding processes and equipment, and applicable welding and quality procedures
• Excellent communication skills
