QA Engineer

Role Overview

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work with the QA team to design, implement, and execute test plans, identify bugs and defects, throughly test new product features and work closely with the overall development team to support product quality.

What You Will Do

Prepare detailed test plans, perform cross browser manual testing, identify and document defects, participate in sprint planning, communicate with development team, collaborate with other teams, conduct regression testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing
• Confident knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices
• Familiarity with version control systems e.g. Git
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Good analytical problem solving ability
• Keen learner to up skill in new technologies
• Knowledge of web applications
• Knowledge of Rest APIs and tools for debugging for API testing
• Interest in test automation tools eg. cypress selenium
