Manager, Revenue Accounting

Role Overview

The Manager, Revenue Accounting provides leadership and strategic support for the revenue accounting team, overseeing revenue recognition compliance, policy deployment, and cross-functional collaboration. This role ensures adherence to US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, and industry standards while building a high-performing team and maintaining strong working relationships across the organization.

What You Will Do

Serve as an escalation point for complex issues; provide expert guidance and resolve challenges in a timely and effective manner. Approve new and update existing revenue-related policies and procedures; review and recommend improvements to documentation prepared by team members.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Demonstrated ability to establish strong working relationships with cross-functional teams including Sales, Legal, IT, and Global Services while mentoring/supporting more junior team members. Industry experience in the application of ASC 606 Revenue from Contracts with Customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of revenue recognition experience
• Expert knowledge of software revenue recognition guidance (ASC 606 Revenue from Contracts with Customers)
• Excellent leadership skills with demonstrated experience providing guidance, mentorship, and support to developing team members
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills
• Strong financial systems background with the ability to thrive in a flexible, fast-paced, and highly organized environment
