Job Description
We are hiring for a fast-growing Web3 startup looking for a Protocol Engineer to design, implement, and operate the core software of a L1 Chain. Responsibilities include building, customizing, and maintaining Cosmos SDK/Tendermint modules, implementing EVM-compatible capabilities on Evmos, and managing chain upgrades.
Requirements
- Expert Golang in Cosmos/Tendermint
- Mastery of state machines and consensus
- Deep Evmos EVM proficiency: precompiles, opcodes/gas, JSON-RPC, cross-compat
- Hands-on with Greenfield SDKs/APIs, ACLs, and chain/contract integration patterns
- Strong in Docker/K8s, CI/CD, IaC for chain infra; plus node ops (pruning, sync, RPC)
- Rigorous testing (simulations, property-based, upgrade rehearsals) and observability (Prom/Grafana, traces, playbooks)
