The Trainer will instruct Aircraft Maintenance related subjects and collaborate with internal customers to source and/or design effective training programs.
Requirements
- 5-10 years' experience performing maintenance on a variety of aircraft as an Aircraft Mechanic
- Experience on either CH149 Cormorant or C130 Hercules aircraft considered an asset
- Comfortable teaching in a classroom environment, while demonstrating excellent communication skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
- Proven leadership skills, both in classroom and leading projects
- Proven ability to deliver constructive feedback while providing support for improvement
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- First Aid qualifications are considered an asset
- Eligible to meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Secret Level II Security Clearance through PSPC- Contract Security Program, and Transport Canada RAIC clearance
