Journeyman Full-Stack Java Developer

Role Overview

I2X Technologies is seeking a Journeyman Software Developer, Systems Software to support ongoing activities for a customer in Bellevue, Nebraska. This position will be ON-SITE and will require an active SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED, preferred TS/SCI. The company provides long-term growth and development, and the role will involve developing, creating, and modifying general computer applications software or specialized utility programs.

What You Will Do

Develop software solutions, design software or customize software for client use, analyze and design databases within an application area, and supervise computer programmers. The role will involve working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team, and contributing to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent STEM field (equivalent experience/combined education), with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree
• Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance
• Ability to develop Web or Java code in an Agile / DevSecOps team environment
• Bachelors Degree in computer science or related engineering disciplines
• 3-10 years of related experience and strong understanding of software architecture
• Experience in full lifecycle development of embedded software for DOD technical development efforts
• Familiar with Agile SW Development environment
• Familiarity with development tooling Eclipse, Jenkins, GitLab, Gradle, GIT, JUnit, Selenium, JIRA
• Experience with JavaScript Frameworks / Libraries (React/Angular/Vue), CSS, and HTML
• Experience with Web Services (REST) or JSON/XML
• Experience with AI / ML Methodologies
