Integration Engineer

Role Overview

As an Integration Engineer at iCallidus, you will conduct comprehensive assessments of the EHRM enterprise architecture, develop architectural views, and recommend technology solutions to meet future scalability and performance needs. You will lead design reviews, guide integration efforts, and support the use of open standards and common data models. You will also document architecture assessments and recommendations, and implement and maintain configuration management and version control practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in enterprise systems integration, architecture, or engineering in a large-scale federal healthcare or IT environment
• Demonstrated experience with system architecture, network planning, and system interoperability, particularly with EHR systems
• Familiarity with VA Office of Information and Technology (OIT) Systems Engineering Design Principles and Patterns
• Strong understanding of open standards, common data models, and federal interoperability frameworks
• Proven experience supporting integration between federal agencies and community care partners
• Experience with configuration management and secure system development life cycles
• Strong technical writing, documentation, and presentation skills
