Job Description
IKS Health is seeking an experienced medical coder to provide coding and abstracting services for clients on outpatient SDS CPT records using ICD-10-CM, CPS, and CPT coding systems. The role involves reviewing medical records, assigning diagnostic and procedural codes, and participating in industry forums and coding education within the team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of coding experience in an academic/teaching facility
- Extensive knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPS, and CPT coding principles and guidelines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
