Requirements

• Performing mechanical and utility system assembly activities based on engineering drawings
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics to lay out, rig, and assemble mechanical systems with a focus on quality
• Learning and applying welding, brazing, refrigeration, and/or electrical assembly techniques as needed
• Safely and competently operating machine tools and equipment, including grinders, polishers, drills, lathes, milling machines, and utility systems
• Prior experience with complex industrial or capital equipment assembly
• Strong mechanical aptitude and self-motivation
• Experience working with electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Ability to work independently in a job shop environment
