Information Security Engineer

Role Overview

Imagine Communications is seeking an experienced Information Security Engineer to join our Security Operations team. This role is responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to cybersecurity threats across enterprise environments, while contributing to the continuous improvement of security controls, tooling, and operational processes.

What You Will Do

Monitor and enhance security monitoring and detection capabilities, investigate alerts and triage security events, identify and escalate suspicious activity or potential security incidents, lead end-to-end incident response activities, and maintain accurate incident records.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in Information Security or Security Operations (SOC)
• Hands-on experience with one or more of the following: SIEM platforms and alerting methodologies, Endpoint Detection & Response (Microsoft Defender), Vulnerability management tools (Qualys)
• Strong understanding of: Network security fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, IDS/IPS), Common attack techniques and threat vectors, Incident response frameworks and best practices
• Experience analyzing logs across multiple environments (Windows, Linux, and cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or OCI)
• Proven ability to communicate technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
