Trading Researcher - Altas at IMC

IMC acquired Altas Technologies and is looking for a Trading Researcher to lead the growth of the firm's trading research and improve execution quality in delta 1 mid-frequency trading context.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics or other highly quantitative field
• Experience as a Researcher in D1 execution research
• Significant practical experience with large messy datasets and pre-processing steps
• Understanding of position management, market risk, and optimal execution side of quant strategies
• Scientific mindset with experience in data analysis with Python & SQL
• Strong eye for detail and structured process to ensure reliable results
• Serious about clean code, simple systems, and continuous improvement
