Job Description
The Supervisor Nursing assumes administrative responsibility and authority for hospital services during tour of duty, with access to administrative on-call staff for direction/assistance with complex problems. They are responsible for coordinating and supervising activities of nursing personnel and for ensuring that appropriate staffing levels are maintained.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Nursing or Healthcare Related Specialty and two plus (2+) years of nursing experience
- Zero (0) to Two (2) years supervisory/management experience in nursing
- Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Pennsylvania
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) approved curriculum of the American Heart Association (CPR and AED) program
- Act 33 with renewal
- Act 34 with renewal
- Act 73 FBI Clearance
- Current ACLS or completion within one (1) year of hire/transfer date into department
