Openshift Engineer

Role Overview

Supports Openshift-based telco cloud infrastructure. Expanded Key Responsabilities include deploying and configuring OpenShift clusters, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring platform security and compliance.

What You Will Do

Deploy and configure OpenShift clusters, execute upgrades and patching, troubleshoot cluster and node issues, ensure platform security and compliance, and support onboarding and runtime needs of CNFs and cloud-native workloads.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Strong Linux administration skills, process and system troubleshooting, and proficiency in oc CLI are required. Experience with OpenShift, Linux, and cloud-native workloads is an asset.

Requirements

• Strong Linux administration (RHEL / CentOS / Rocky)
• Process, memory, disk, CPU troubleshooting
• Systemd, journald, log analysis
• Networking basics: ports, firewalls, DNS, routing
• SSH, SCP, file permissions, SELinux (basic)
• oc CLI proficiency
• Projects / Namespaces
• Routes & ImageStreams
• SCCs (Security Context Constraints)
• RBAC basics
• Operators & OperatorHub (usage, not development)
• Cluster health checks
• Assisted / supervised upgrades (validate, monitor, rollback)
