Cloud Data Engineer

At ING, we believe technology should make life simpler, not more complicated. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate in globally distributed teams
• Hands-on experience building complex data pipelines (e.g. PySpark, Airflow)
• Solid proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience designing data models and working with SQL-based data management systems
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including testing and CI/CD
• Hands-on experience with GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Composer
