Job Description
ING is seeking a Director, Head of Commodity Merchant Companies for their New York office. The successful candidate will lead a team of relationship managers, manage a dedicated TCF portfolio, and oversee sizeable exposures. Key responsibilities include driving client acquisition, originating and executing commodity finance transactions, and expanding the CMC NY portfolio.
Requirements
- 8-10 years of Trade & Commodity Finance experience
- Strong commercial skills with demonstrated success in winning new business
- Deep knowledge of TCF structures across both US and European markets
- Proven ability to originate and execute transactions with extensive deal experience and market participant insight
- Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management practices
- Highly skilled in managing complex stakeholder relationships across internal and external networks
- Registered Series 79 and 63, or ability to obtain within first year
