The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing repairs, troubleshooting, and carrying out preventative maintenance on assigned property/properties. This includes maintaining and improving the condition of property grounds and buildings and the timely completion of work orders.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of two years of maintenance or construction experience
- One year of experience as a full-charge residential maintenance technician is preferred
- One year of introductory supervisory experience and above average motivation preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations is preferred
- EPA certification preferred
- HVAC certification preferred
- Must be able to work a flex schedule and be on-call for emergencies on weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Requires the ability to read, speak and comprehend the English language
- Proficiency in performing plumbing, electric and machinery repair
- Ability to follow direction and work independently
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, action-oriented environment
