Job Description
Inseego is seeking a Principal Hardware Engineer, Baseband to work onsite in San Diego, CA. The role involves designing hardware architectures, mentoring junior engineers, and working effectively across cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
- Minimum 9 years of relevant experience
- Master's degree in electrical engineering preferred
- Knowledge of current and emerging hardware technologies
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Strong experience working with cross-functional engineer teams
- Good understanding of global wireless carrier requirements related to WCDMA / LTE / 5G technologies
- Experience in design and development of Microprocessor, Memory, Power Management, Charging, and USB circuits
- Experience with High Volume Product development and Manufacturing
- Experience with Layout and Simulation of High-Speed Interfaces
- Experience with Qualcomm SDX, MSM, APQ ICs preferred
- Experience with Visio creating block diagrams
- Superior problem-solving skills at board level with strong layout skills
- Cadence experience preferred
