Get back to live events, but now with a digital toolkit in your pocket! As a Senior Event Manager/Project Manager (m/f/d) at insglück, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing physical, hybrid, and virtual events, as well as accompanying digital brand experience strategies.

You should bring several years of professional experience in project management of various event formats - live and ideally also digital - as you will independently manage extensive projects and lead multi-person project teams. The location for the activity is Hamburg. You have the opportunity to work partly from home office.

Your Tasks

Sometimes as a sparring partner:

• As a convincing leader:
• Take over the professional guidance and support of your project or pitch team through structured supervision, hold structured meetings, delegate task packages for project members, and lead trainees and junior colleagues in the project daily routine.

You are in charge of all operational threads:

• You are responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing large and complex corporate events and public events - live or virtually.
• As the first point of contact, you actively ensure a steady and friendly exchange with your customers, take care of their concerns, and maintain these customer relationships.
• You are in constant exchange with the creation, your project team, service providers, and contractors.
• You advise our customers in strategic consulting and convincingly presents concepts.
• You prepare strategy meetings, budget rounds, and presentations and hold them on site or virtually.
• You are responsible for adhering to the budget and target specifications of your projects, coordinate the tender procedures for service providers and contractors, and bring the right performance partners on board.
• In close coordination with the concept, video producers, and technical service providers, you coordinate the shoot and recording planning for videos, audio formats, and live streams.
• When planning the course of events, you take into account the detailed interplay of different media and formats, the technical possibilities, the attention span of the participants on digital devices, and the customer requirements for the comprehensive communication of the brand.
• During the production of the event, you ensure a smooth course of events and an unforgettable experience for all participants - at home or live on site.

Ideal candidate profile

You have several years of professional experience (at least 5 years) as a project leader in an agency for events, live communication, or related industries and bring comprehensive experience in planning, implementing, and billing medium-sized and large projects as a total project manager.

It would be great if you had organized live formats, digital, or hybrid events, are technology-savvy, and can competently manage media production.

It would be advantageous if you had a good overview of the range of digital event platforms, video conferencing tools, live streaming providers, streaming studios, and digital tools for interactions, workshops, and breakout meetings.

You have a good network in the industry and know the essential requirements of the individual areas and master the complete keyboard of live communication (technology, exhibition construction, catering, participant management, media production).

You bring experience in leading and managing multi-person teams consisting of project management and creation/conception.

VR, AR, Gamification, and Scanning are not foreign words to you, and you can select and manage the necessary service providers.

You have the ability to imagine yourself in different target groups, accurately assess their technical competence and needs when attending digital events, and prepare them accordingly for participation.

You are authentic, convincing through your meticulous and independent working style, can delegate, and safely assess when you need to bring in support.

With high commitment, you work sometimes on several construction sites and in different teams at the same time and still don't lose sight of your priorities, your sense of humor, and your good mood.

Fluent German and English skills are a must for this position.
