Manager/Staff Software Engineer, Embedded Platform

Inspiren is seeking a Manager / Staff Software Engineer, Embedded Platform to own and evolve the software foundation that powers our growing fleet of connected devices in production.

Requirements

• Experience shipping and operating production systems end-to-end (software, embedded, infrastructure, or platform)
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, even if part of your background is in hardware, firmware, or embedded systems
• Hands-on experience with Linux-based systems and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CDK, CloudFormation, or similar)
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, TypeScript)
• Experience supporting systems at meaningful scale (e.g., large device fleets or user bases)
• Ability to influence across teams and work effectively in a fast-moving, startup environment
• Startup experience preferred (Series C/D a plus), with a willingness to be scrappy and pragmatic
• Prior management experience is a plus but not required
