Forensic Engineer, Fire and Explosion

We are seeking a Forensic Engineer, Fire and Explosion, to play a key role in supporting our growth. The role will involve investigating the cause and origin of losses, recreating the sequence of events, and producing reports. You will also be called upon to testify in court to share your expert opinion.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of buildings, construction methods, heat transfer and the laws governing fire propagation.
• Investigating the origin and causes of fires, recreating the sequence of events, and validating with up-to-date scientific knowledge.
• Applying the scientific method to identify the cause of losses.
• Providing short and detailed reports or detailed ones for more significant losses.
• Testifying in court to present expert opinion.
