Job Description
Procurement Manager will be responsible for negotiating with suppliers, ensuring company targets are met, and delivering financial targets related to Purchase Price Variance, Working Capital, and Cost Savings. The role also involves coordinating with the Safety, Quality & Compliance team, conducting quality audits, and developing new vendors.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years FMCG experience in Supply Chain / Procurement
- Engineering degree with commercial background/ Commerce back ground with sound knowledge of cost management with sound business knowledge
- Results oriented, entrepreneurial and self-motivating
- Tenacious and resilient, driven to achieve even when faced with obstacles
- Leadership and interpersonal skills capable of building strong working relationships and influencing external and internal stakeholders
- Strong commercial understanding of business issues/opportunities
- Strong understanding of product costing and negotiation technique
- Strong analytical skills with ability to develop strategies, tactics and measurable implementation and advance excel skills to formulate various report
- Ability to think outside the box
- Fluency in English is essential. Fluency in other languages(s) is advantageous
