Job Description
IPS is seeking a dynamic Field Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment while delivering top-notch service to our customers.
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on AC/DC motor service experience (mining, dragline, or heavy industrial environment preferred)
- PdMA testing experience or equivalent diagnostic equipment (preferred)
- Vibration Analysis ISO CAT II certification (preferred)
- Strong skills in vibration analysis, alignment, and bearing inspections
- Proven ability to lead teams and train technicians in the field
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow procedures precisely
- Excellent problem-solving skills; able to adapt and think outside the box under pressure
- Strong customer focus with professional communication skills
- Basic computer literacy and technical report writing ability
- Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to travel locally and overnight, with availability for overtime, weekends, and on-call assignments
- Solid math skills, including fractions and percentages
