Job Description
IPS is looking for a dedicated Winder to join their team. The Winder will be responsible for rewinding various kinds of electromechanical equipment, inspecting for damage, and performing voltage testing. The role requires experience in rewinding AC and DC electric motors, and the ability to operate machinery and hoists.
Requirements
- Rewind various kinds of electromechanical equipment
- Dismantle and/or strip damaged or unserviceable electromechanical equipment
- Inspect various kinds of electromechanical equipment for winding damage and evidence of electrical malfunctions
- Document/record all relevant data specific to the unit’s electromagnetic characteristics
- Prepare all reusable parts for rewinding and inspect renewed parts for hidden, structural damage or unusual conditions
- Test rewound electromechanical equipment according to EASA Standards and document test results
