Portuguese Interpreter (Sacramento Area)

Independent contract self-employment position providing interpreting services primarily in the healthcare setting in Sacramento, Yolo, and Placer counties.

Requirements

• Fluency in both Portuguese and English
• Experience performing interpreting work accurately, completely, and clearly
• Ability to interact with and relate to non-English speaking persons of any background and culture
• Combination of formal training and/or relevant experience
• Possession of a valid California license
• Access to a cell phone
• Access to a computer and/or smartphone
