Requirements
- Fluency in both Yue Chinese and English
- Must reside in Sacramento, CA or the Greater Sacramento Area
- Demonstrated experience providing accurate, complete, and clear interpretation in medical, legal, and community settings
- Strong ability to interpret orally between Yue Chinese and English in both directions
- Proven ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds
- Skilled in meeting the communication needs of medical professionals, patients, government agencies, community organizations, and internal stakeholders
- Combination of formal interpreter training and/or relevant professional experience
- Willingness to obtain required medical clearances, including vaccination/immunization records and background checks, as necessary
- Possession of a valid California license
