Job Description
The Head of Onco-Hematology Unit is responsible for the leadership of the Onco-Hematology service in ISHU, ensuring outstanding patient care and access to clinical trials. The role requires providing programmatic, financial, and administrative oversight, working with departmental and hospital leaders, and interacting with research leaders.
Requirements
- MB.Ch.B. or equivalent from a recognized University
- M.Med./Fellowship in Hematology or Oncology
- Registered with the Ugandan Medical and Dental Practitioners Council
- 6+ years of work experience in Hematology or Oncology
- 2+ years as Senior Consultant
- Previous team leadership experience in health sectors
- Previous management experience in healthcare facilities
- Scientific research titles in Hematology or Oncology
