Mainframe Operations

Mainframe Operations job at Intersoft. Responsible for managing batch jobs, monitoring mainframe, and performing day-to-day operational activities. Must have skills in CA7, OPC, and batch scheduling.

Requirements

• Manage and process batch jobs and manage batch schedules using CA7, OPC
• Monitor mainframe and take action as per the documented procedure
• Perform day-to-day operational activities such as periodic system checks, IPLs, housekeeping, Start/End of day procedures, system health checks, etc.
• Update process reports in a daily basis and work under shift lead's supervision
• Taking charge during critical situations and coordinate with various support teams for a quick resolution
• Attending daily/weekly incident/change meetings and report the status
• Perform critical and special process activities independently
