Senior Software Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Intrepid Solutions team. You will help design, prototype, implement, and maintain unique software solutions that are deployed on government client’s infrastructure.

What You Will Do

Design and implement new capabilities and custom software solutions to solve unique government customer problems, follow best practices to write well-tested, high performing code, identify and resolve issues found in existing code, integrate capabilities with external services and tools, participate in code reviews and mentor team members, communicate status and technical details with customers.

Requirements

• 12 + years experience writing, maintaining, debugging, and testing code
• Experience with RESTful web services
• Experience with server-side languages, preference toward Golang, NodeJS, and/or Python
• Experience with frontend JavaScript frameworks, preference toward Angular and Vue
• Experience with version control software (e.g., Git)
• Experience with bug/issue tracking software such as JIRA
• Ability to communicate technical details of work
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and take ownership for segments of a project
• Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills
• Open, team-oriented, with a strong desire to learn
• Active Top Secret / SCI clearance
• DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II (CompTIA Security+) certification
