
Job description
As a Senior/Staff Quantum Error Correction Engineer, you will play a key role in advancing the core technology behind IQM’s quantum computers. You will design and optimize quantum error-correcting codes, fault-tolerant protocols, and decoding algorithms that directly impact system performance and scalability.
Design and optimize quantum error-correcting codes, fault-tolerant protocols, and decoding algorithms. Develop and benchmark simulations to evaluate QEC performance and scalability. Contribute to and run quantum error correction experiments on IQM hardware.
Strong expertise in quantum error correction, quantum computing, and quantum information. Solid programming skills (Python) and experience with quantum tools (e.g., Stim, Qiskit). Experience with QEC codes, fault-tolerant protocols, or decoding algorithms.
