Principal Engineer (Process Packaged Units) (m/w/d)

ITM Power is seeking a Principal Engineer (Process Packaged Units) to lead the planning, tender preparation, and execution of compact equipment units for gas treatment plants. The ideal candidate will have advanced leadership skills, technical expertise in gas treatment plant technology, and experience managing large projects from conception to completion.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
• Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) is an advantage
• Extensive experience in managing complete equipment, preferably with a focus on gas treatment plants
• In-depth technical knowledge of gas treatment plants, including compressors, separators, drainage systems, and other related components
• Proven successes in successfully leading large projects from conception to completion
• Previous experience working for a manufacturer of oil and gas equipment is an advantage
• Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards (e.g., CE, ASME, API, ANSI)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Fluent German and English language skills in both spoken and written form
