Job Description
IVA'AL Solutions, LLC is seeking a Family Advocacy Intervention Specialist (FAIS) to support the Air Force Family Advocacy Program (FAP). This role involves assessing and treating maltreatment within families, providing preventative services, and delivering community health education. The FAIS is responsible for developing and implementing programs for prevention and response to partner abuse and other family concerns.
Requirements
- Master’s degree from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited school
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker at the independent level with current, unrestricted State license
- Two years’ full-time post-master’s degree experience in clinical counseling services to adults and children experiencing family violence
- Experience as a group therapy facilitator or co-leader
- Ability to obtain Military Treatment Facility (MTF) privileges
- Basic Life Support Certification (Course C)
- Valid driver’s license
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office
